No Bob, says the woman, Fannie Mae. It’s an agency in the US that deals with property foreclosures or as you would say here, repossessions. Fannie Mae insures mortgage loans for banks. If the loan goes bad on a property, Fannie Mae pays the bank the amount they lost on the loan in exchange for ownership of the property. Fannie then resells these properties to the general public at a huge discount. And when I say huge, Bob, I mean huge.
